Application can be made on the portal via https://apply.stateoforigin.osunstate.gov.ng/ . Ensure you register or sign up to begin the process.
After login, what is next?
Once successfully logged in, click on “Request Certificate” from your Menu, fill the form and follow the process.
How long should I wait before getting my certificate?
Once your application is verified and approved, you can expect to receive it via email within 24 to 48 hours.
Is the certificate digital or hardcopy?
The certificate is a digital copy that is sent to your email upon approval. You can print at your convenience.
How do I make payments for the service?
Payments can be made online on the portal. You can make use of your debit or credit card, or make transfer from your bank mobile application or online banking portal to a dedicated account displayed on the payment page.
In case I lose my certificate, can I get another one?
You have a limit of printing your certificate up to five times after which you will have to apply for a new certificate.
Does the certificate expire?
The certificate of origin does not expire.
Can I apply for my local government of origin certificate on this portal?
Yes. You can apply for state of origin certificate as well as local government of origin certificate on the portal.
